Colloque international « Bacon et la modernité européenne » 2026

La Société Leibniz de Roumanie annonce l'organisation du colloque international sur le thème « Bacon et la modernité européenne », qui se tiendra les 8 et 9 octobre 2026 au Centre Régional Francophone de Recherches Avancées en Sciences Sociales (CEREFREA) à Bucarest.

Organisateurs: Société Leibniz de Roumanie, Institut de Philosophie et de Psychologie « Constantin Rădulescu-Motru », Centre Régional Francophone de Recherche Avancée en Sciences Sociales (CEREFREA) de l'Université de Bucarest.

En cette année de commémoration du quatre siècles de sa disparition, nous souhaitons examiner la contribution de Bacon à la modernité européenne, notamment à travers les axes suivants :
- la contribution à la révolution scientifique ;
- les relations avec ses contemporains ;
- les projets de réforme du savoir ;
- le nouvel instrument du savoir ;
- la philosophie naturelle et la philosophie expérimentale ;
- les projets utopiques et la critique socio-politique, etc.
Cette liste n'est pas exhaustive et tous les sujets relevant des études baconiennes peuvent être abordés, en français ou en anglais.
Nous invitons les chercheurs intéressés à envoyer titre, résumé de 10 à 20 lignes et CV à societatea.Leibniz@yahoo.ro  ou adriannita2010@gmail.com, jusqu'au 1er mai 2026 ; l'annonce d'acceptation aura lieu le 15 mai, date à laquelle la deuxième lettre circulaire sera publiée contenant des détails concernant les frais de participation (60 euros), le compte et d'autres détails organisationnels.


Leibniz Society of Romania Announces the organization of the international symposium on the theme "Bacon and European modernity", which will take place on October 8-9, 2026, at the Francophone Regional Center for Advanced Research in Social Sciences (CEREFREA) in Bucharest. In the year in which we commemorate four centuries since his passing, we aim to see the contribution made by Bacon to European modernity, on the following levels: - Bacon's contribution to the scientific revolution; - relationship with his contemporaries; - knowledge reform projects; - the new instrument of knowledge; - natural philosophy and experimental philosophy; - utopian projects and socio-political criticism, etc. The list is open, and any topics in the field of Baconian studies can be addressed - in French or English.   We invite interested researchers to send  title,  10-20 lines abstract and a CV to societatea.Leibniz@yahoo.ro  or adriannita2010@gmail.com, until May 1, 2026; the acceptance announcement will be May 15, when the second circular letter will be published containing details regarding the participation fee (60 euros), account and other organizational details.
